Epeeists unite for this tournament of epee! Multiple epee events punctuated by a team epee competition on June 1st!

Y12, Mixed & Women's Epee will be held on Saturday (05/31/08). Age restriction for mixed epee is 13 years and older.

Y12 and mixed will fence concurrently. Women's epee will be held in the afternoon.

Y12 and Mixed registration closes at 9:00AM. Women's Epee check-in will begin after the conclusion of Mixed Epee and closes at 1:00PM.

A mixed team event will be held on Sunday (06/1/08). Please register individually; teams will be chosen at the event and will not be based on club affiliation.

Mixed Team check in for fencers is 9:00AM on Sunday.

This is a USFA event so come prepared with gear and proof of membership. Need to renew? Renew at the lower 2007 rate of $50 for the 2008/2009 season, before the USFA raises the fee again, which is set to occur after Summer Nationals in July. 

Registration fee for this event is $10 + $5/event fenced. Sign up on AskFred closes on 5/30/08 for all events. If you do not register on AskFred, you will pay double the registration fee ($20 + $5/event fenced) at the door.

FCA Summer Novice Tournament

Please join FCA for our summer novice tournament. For the 5th year in a row, FCA has hosted its now famous

Novice tournament and Spaghetti feed

This tournament is specifically designed for new students to the sport of fencing. Therefore, it is restricted to fencers who have fenced less than a year and have not fenced in other tournaments in that weapon hosted by clubs, divisions or national level tournaments.

This is not a USFA event so fencers are not required to have full uniforms. They will be required to have a mask, glove, underarm protector which can be borrowed from your club. Fencers who plan on continuing on in fencing are strongly encouraged purchase their own gear in preparation for this tournament. All epee fencers will wear sweats that are not "hip huggers" and cover their entire legs.

Along with this now traditional tournament is a spaghetti feed which features the famous Wayne's Spaghetti sauce. Fencers are encouraged to bring their own dish such as salad or desert. FCA will provide spaghetti noodles, sauce, plates, napkins, cups, utensils and milk.

There is a $10/event fee to participate.

Fencers who arrive after the close of check in for their event will not be allowed to fence.

The Senior & Y12 events for each weapon may be held simultaneously, depending on the size of the events. All fencers should have snacks and/or lunch available since we will NOT break for lunch.

Cost of the class is $80, and consists of 16 class sessions that combine a 30-minute technical session with 30 minutes of drill line concentrating on material from that class.
